Day 01 | Sandakan - Sepilok -Sukau |
Arrive at Sandakan airport in the morning, you will be meet and transfer to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Learn about the rehabilitation of young or strayed orang utans before taking a boardwalk through lowland rainforest to viewing feeding platform. Witness the feeding of orphaned orang utans at 10:00 am continue with about 2.5 hours drive through rustic countryside studded with villages untill we reach Sukau, Kinabatangan River. Take a short boat transfer to Borneo Nature Lodge. Time for orientation and check in. Late afternoon river cruise in search of proboscis monkey & other wildlife along the river bank. Overnight stay at Borneo Nature Lodge. | |

Day 02 | Sukau - Gomantong - Sandakan |
After breakfast, we depart Sukau and proceed to visit the Gomantong Cave located within the Gomantong forest reserve. Take about 15 minutes boardwalk to the opening of Semut Hitam cavern and explore the cave system on boardwalk. Return to Sandakan for lunch. Afternoon proceed to city tour. Visit water village, central market & Buddhist temple. After tour, transfer to airport or drop off at hotel. End of services. | |
