Enjoy a full day's sightseeing in the world's largest Orang Utan Sanctuary. Early morning, board a plane for historic Sandakan, one of Sabah's earliest settlements, where you can visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. At this Sanctuary, young, orphaned or captured Orang Utans are gradually rehabilitated into the wild and offer an opportunity to see orang utans up close in their natural habitat. A boardwalk leads to a viewing gallery and feeding platform where the orang utans are fed twice a day. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by a tour of Sandakan, visiting to the Sandakan Market, Observation pavilion, Chinese Temple and water village before returning to hotel in Sandakan of flying back to Kota Kinabalu.

Meet guide on arrival at Sandakn Airport and proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. A 30 minutes video (subject to availability) presentation will be shown to visitors before the feeding. | |
1000 hrs | Witness the feeding of the Orang Utan. Bananas and milk are substitute diet for this primate, for in the wild they eat entirely young shoots or leaves. After the Orang Utan got their food, they will start moving in to the forest for their siestas. |
1100 hrs | Depart for Sandakan Town for lunch at local restaurant. |
After lunch visit the Sandakan Market, Observation pavilion, Chinese Temple and water village before catching the flight back to Kota Kinabalu. |
