The majestic Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest mountains in South East Asia standing at 4095.2 metre located inside the world heritage site, Kinabalu National Park. To reach the summit from Timpohon Gate (starting point), climbers will be trekking through 6 kilometers of trail composed by wooden staircase and nature trail up to Laban Rata Resthouse on 1st day and continues another 2.7 kilometers journey toward the summit on 2nd day.
The part of the summit trail was newly introduced starting December 1, which is called Ranau Trail. It is said to offer more fascinating breathtaking views along the way as we walk on the ridge.
While you do not need special skills to climb, you must at least have the basic fitness level.

| 0630 - 0730 | Meet your guide at your hotel/hostel (or designated meeting point) and depart to Kinabalu Park |

| Guide will arrange all necesarry registration and assign you a mountain guide (Shared with other guests). | |
| *Porter fee (RM130/10kg), luggage keeping fee (RM12/luggage) at Park HQ will be paid by guest's own account | |
| 1000 | Transferred from Park HQ to Timpohon Gate (Starting point / 1,892m) |
| Start hiking up to Laban Rata Resthouse (3,353m). It takes approximately 4 - 6 hours. | |
| 1500 | Arrive at Laban Rata Resthouse and check in |
| Have a dinner at Laban Rata Resthouse | |
| Go to bed and take enough rest |
| Day 02 | Mountain Hut - Summit - Mountain Hut - Kinabalu Park - Kota Kinabalu (S/B/L) |
| Wake up for early supper | |
| 0230 | Start the journey toward the summit of Mt. Kinabalu (4095.2m). It takes approximately 3 hours. |
| 0600 | Reach the summit and catch the sunrise *Subject to weather condition |
| Descend to Laban Rata Resthouse | |
| Arrive at Laban Rata Resthouse and have a late breakfast | |
| 1000 | Trek down to Timpohon gate |
| 1300 - 1500 | Arrive at Timpohon gate transferred back to Park HQ |
| Arrive at Park HQ to collect certificate and enjoy a buffet lunch at Balsam Restaurant | |
| (Buffet lunch would be converted to packed lunch for clients who arrive late.) | |
| Meet with your guide and depart to Kota Kinabalu. It takes approximately 2 - 3 hours. | |
| Arrive at your hotel/hostel (or requested drop-off point) in Kota Kinabalu |
